MARK COUMBE
Mark has been dedicated to Martial Arts for over 30 years, having started his journey with Bushido Ju Jitsu before exploring other styles along the way. For the past 20 years, he has been a Senior Instructor in the IMB Academy, which boasts a direct lineage to the legendary Bruce Lee through GM Richard Bustillo, and specialises in Jeet Kune Do.
Mark's expertise covers all ranges of combat, from teaching JKD, Boxing, Ju Jitsu, and Empty Hand techniques to self-defense and awareness. He is also highly skilled in Filipino Martial Arts, including Escrima, Panatukan, and sticks and knife defense.
Mark's extensive experience and passion for Martial Arts make him a valuable asset to any student looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the field.
Jenny Thurston
Jenny has over 25 years of martial arts training, specializing in Jeet Kune Do. Her extensive background includes Ju Jitsu, as well as Filipino Martial Arts such as Escrima and Kali stick fighting, covering a wide range of techniques including boxing, empty hand, trapping, throwing, grappling, and knife and stick fighting skills.
Notably, Jenny is the only female Senior Instructor in the IMB family in the UK, making her a trailblazer for women in the field of martial arts. Her dedication to the craft and her expertise make her a valuable asset to any student seeking to improve their skills and reach their full potential.
